Mr Okolski has worked for many years at internationa law firms in Poland and abroad - Altheimer&Gray, Clifford Chance, Haarmann Hemmelrath as well as a chief legal counsel of Skanska Polska sp. z o.o. and development company Blue City Sp. z o.o. Expert in contracts law, real estate law, construction contracts and joint venture agreements between Polish and foreign enterprises.
Arbitrator to the Arbitration Court at the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. Lecturer at the Warsaw Technical University, postgraduate studies – Construction management.
Within his legal career Dariusz Okolski negotiated on behalf of Skanska construction contract for the biggest construction project in Poland - Zlote Tarasy in Warsaw, several joint venture agreements between Skanska and Warsaw Municipality for development of Atrium office buildings and hotel Westin in Warsaw. In 2001 participated in take over and restructurisation by Skanska of listed at WSE Exbud SA and its subsidiaries. Additionally, has represented Skanska in a tender for a new airport in Warsaw and in a consortium together with Bartimpex and Israeli company Bafri for construction of A4 motorway. In 90's on behalf of foreign investors participated in large privatization projects such as - Daewoo/FSO, Polish Tobacco, Alima Gerberand Stomil.
Graduated from Law Faculty of Warsaw University. LLM at Law Faculty at University of Tübingen, comparative law studies at University of Strasbourg and American law studies at DePaul University in Chicago. Qualified as an attorney in 1996. Fluent in English and German.
Author of book on Construction Contracts issued by C.H. Beck in Poland in 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011 as well as several articles on current legal matters.
